Hilton Bahrain City Centre Hotel & Residences has officially opened in the heart of Manama’s Al Seef District, marking a significant addition to Bahrain’s hospitality sector. The hotel features 594 residential-style studios, suites, and penthouses, all equipped with fully fitted kitchens, supporting both extended stays and short visits. The property introduces a new standard of living and hospitality, combining the comforts of home with Hilton’s global service excellence.

The opening was inaugurated by Bahrain’s Deputy Prime Minister, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, underscoring the strategic importance of this new Hilton residence to Bahrain’s tourism and economic growth. The project owner, Mahmood Mohamed Faqeeh, expressed pride in delivering a premier living destination aligned with the Kingdom’s development goals.

Facilities at Hilton Bahrain City Centre include four restaurants and lounges, multiple swimming pools, a luxury spa, a wellness center, and a state-of-the-art fitness facility. Family amenities include Kids and Teens Clubs, while sweeping views of the city skyline and the Arabian Gulf enhance the guest experience. The hotel also offers flexible meeting spaces suitable for conferences, business meetings, and private events, emphasizing both leisure and business traveler needs.

Leading the operations is General Manager Hassan El Wahidi, a hospitality veteran with over 35 years of experience managing luxury hotels across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, including key Hilton properties. El Wahidi stated that the property aims to be a lifestyle destination, blending residential comfort with high-end hospitality, catering to the evolving preferences of Bahrain’s residents and international visitors.

This launch is part of Hilton’s broader growth strategy in Bahrain, where it also plans to introduce the Waldorf Astoria brand. The upcoming Waldorf Astoria Bahrain Bay, scheduled for a 2028 opening, will be located in one of Manama’s most exclusive districts, offering 120 rooms and luxury apartments. The property will feature personalized service with dedicated concierges, reinforcing Hilton’s commitment to upscale hospitality in Bahrain.

The Hilton Bahrain City Centre and future Waldorf Astoria projects complement Bahrain’s ambitious tourism expansion, supported by robust infrastructure and a strategic geographic position linking the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. According to officials, such developments attract international investment, enhance Bahrain’s hotel mix, and boost the Kingdom’s profile as a regional tourism hub.

Hilton continues to strengthen its footprint in the Middle East, with over 120 branded properties under development across the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey (MENAT) region, including over 16,000 rooms in the GCC alone. Their partnership model with local developers enables faster expansion in key markets like Bahrain, evidencing solid confidence in the Kingdom’s hospitality growth prospects.
