Mercedes-Benz branded city is set to rise in Dubai’s Meydan district as part of a new AED30 billion ($8.2 billion) masterplanned community by Binghatti Developers and Mercedes-Benz. The project is scheduled for official launch on January, 2026.
AED30 billion master development
The development, named Mercedes-Benz Places – Binghatti City, will span more than 10 million sq ft in Meydan. It is described as one of Dubai’s most ambitious urban projects and the world’s first Mercedes-Benz branded city.
This is the second branded residential collaboration between Binghatti and Mercedes-Benz, following Mercedes-Benz Places Dubai. It also marks Binghatti’s first fully masterplanned community.
Multi-tower urban ecosystem
Mercedes-Benz Places – Binghatti City is planned as a multi-tower branded district with Mercedes-Benz residential towers integrated into a cohesive urban ecosystem. The masterplan combines luxury homes with cultural and leisure districts, retail boulevards, parks, and green corridors.
The community will also feature mobility hubs, wellness and sports zones, dining venues, entertainment areas, and social spaces. The aim is to give residents access to daily needs and amenities within walking distance.
Design philosophy and experience
The project follows Mercedes-Benz’s Sensual Purity design philosophy, shaping the architecture and interiors across the masterplan. The design approach focuses on creating calm, timeless spaces that blend emotion and intelligence.
Developers position the city as a complete lifestyle destination that unites luxury living, mobility innovation, and intelligent urban planning. The community is planned to prioritise comfort, connectivity, nature access, and design quality.
Partnership and signing ceremony
Chairman Muhammad Binghatti said the renewed collaboration reflects shared values of excellence, precision, and timeless design. He described Mercedes-Benz Places – Binghatti City as a “city within a city” and one of Dubai’s most distinguished future destinations.
The signing ceremony took place at the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart, Germany, attended by Muhammad Binghatti and Mathias Geisen, Member of the Board of Management of Mercedes-Benz Group AG, Marketing & Sales. The partners view the project as a step towards redefining luxury living through design, technology, and smart planning.
